Digestion Acid Reflux
Symptoms:
Stomach problems such as burning, indigestion, burping with burning, bloating
Common Causes:
Imbalance of stomach acids.
Acid reflux occurs when acid and other materials in the stomach back flow or reflux into the esophagus—ten-inch long tube linking the throat and the stomach. In most cases, the reflux or back flow of the materials from the stomach remains in the lower part of the esophagus, resulting in heartburn and nausea. Acid reflux is not only painful but it can also cause damage to the esophagus.
Many people experience mild acid reflux, particularly after a heavy meal. If you are like most people who suffer from stomach problems such as burning, indigestion and/or burping with burning (heart burn); you may have turned to prescription medicines or over-the-counter remedies that reduce stomach acid.
